Our Master Gardeners have outdone themselves this year and our donations from Log House Plants are growing beautifully.

Harvest

Here are just some of the greens we harvested last week. Rosebud heads of lettuce, three kinds of chard and four kinds of kale.

Most of it will be juiced and frozen for green cubes, later to be used in green smoothies. This is a great way to preserve the greens when they’re fresh since no one can eat this much salad at once.
