Summer greens!

Summer is finally here and with it, fresh greens from the garden! What’s not to love about stepping outside to grab a handful of fresh raw greens to toss in the blender.

My current favorites are baby spinach, tatsoi and shiso greens. Pictured below from left to right next to some grafted grapefruit mint. I thought the grapefruit mint would taste exactly like its name would suggest. But it has a pungent sharpness that’s less citrus and mint and more like basil – strong and peppery and not likely to be included in that many more light summer drink recipes. I will however be adding it to pad thai and a few other dishes.
